Interesting Reads from the Technology World

Here are some interesting bits and pieces from the technology world.
- Microsoft's Android Shakedown: IBM Did It First - A historical take (retake?) on the MS-Android patent scuffle that is still on going. History does appear to repeat itself.
- Sun CEO Explicitly Endorsed Android's Use of Java - Read on for some interesting takes on Android by Jonathan Schwarz and his apparent endorsement of Android's use of Java.
- OWASP - Session Management Cheat Sheet A very useful handy reference on session management.
- Git vs. Others - the battle continues and I'm sure that there'll be yet another tool to add to the fray eventually. So the answer doesn't really matter. Read on: Why Git is better than X and of course Why Git ain't better than X
- The Robustness Principle Reconsidered - Eric Allman (of Sendmail fame) writes on standards and interoperability. As for a choice quote - "Be conservative in what you do, be liberal in what you accept from others (RFC 793)."
